There is no shortage of guitar content on YouTube. There is a shortage of guitar content that respects your time and does not talk to you like you are fourteen. Here are the channels I actually point people toward, organized by what you are working on.
Chord Changes and Transitions
JustinGuitar is the one I recommend most for absolute fundamentals. Justin Sandercoe has built one of the most complete free guitar education libraries anywhere, structured in a clear progression from your very first chord onward. If you want a real curriculum instead of scattered tips, start here.
Strumming Patterns and Rhythms
Andy Guitar does a nice job breaking strumming down into something your hand can actually follow, with lessons built specifically for beginner and intermediate players. If strumming still feels mechanical instead of musical, this is a good place to work on it.
Fingerstyle and Picking
LickNRiff focuses specifically on fingerstyle technique, with slowed-down breakdowns that make it easy to see exactly what each finger is doing. If you have been working through the fingerpicking basics here on the site, this channel is a solid next step.
Song Tutorials
Marty Music specializes in teaching full songs rather than isolated technique, which makes it a good fit once you have the basics down and want to build a small setlist of songs you can actually play start to finish.
Gear Demos and Reviews
Andertons Music Co has been producing gear demos and reviews for well over a decade, covering everything from budget beginner instruments to higher-end guitars. Useful if you are trying to decide on a purchase and want to see and hear the instrument before you buy.
